I have always been intrigued by hammers, mallets, and sledges and my studio probably has way more hammers in it than one person needs.  This affinity has led me to make and sell several varieties of wooden "convincers" shown on this page.

The mallet handles are carefully fitted into the heads, epoxied, and wedged for a long-lived tight joint and they are finished with a food safe finish.  This makes them useful in the kitchen for food preparation or the shop for more rigorous duty.
